11 Weeks

How far along?:  11 weeks
Okay, okay....technically this pic was taken
a few days into week 12, as noticed by my hair
color change. I miss the blonde so much already,
but my natural color is brown, and with all of the
vitamins and hormones, my hair is growing faster
than I can keep up with.
Gender: Not finding out! I cannot even begin
to count how many people have called us crazy so far!
Weight gain: I've given up on weighing myself.
I'll leave it to the doctors.
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but my mom did buy
me a belly band which is working wonders!
Stretch Marks: No
Belly Button in or out: In
Sleep: Sleeping well! Keith and I giggle
that he will have to sleep in the guest bedroom when
I get bigger. There isn't enough room for me, 2 babies in my belly,
our pup Maddy, and him.
Best moment this week: Finally feeling confident enough to start
telling friends and family our good news!
Miss anything: My blonde hair.
Movement: No
Cravings: Eggs & bacon. My father-in-law, Steve,
is so kind and has been bringing me bacon
and eggs every week now. He knows the
way to these babies' hearts is through their
mommy's belly!
Queasy or sick: Feeling so much better! I'm feeling so good,
that I thought something was wrong with the babies
because my appetite is coming back and I don't feel sick
anymore!
Looking forward to: Our first doctor's appointment at our
new OBGYN on Wednesday, and surprising my sorority sisters
with the news about the babies on Friday!

10 Weeks

How far along?:  10 weeks
Gender: Not finding out! We love surprises!
Weight gain: Still not gaining weight, but not losing
weight at this point either.
When will food sound good again?!
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but definitely getting close!
Stretch Marks: No
Belly Button in or out: In
Sleep: Much better this week,
minus waking up every 2 hours to pee.
Best moment this week: We were released from the Institute
for Reproductive Health this past Wednesday. It was
definitely a bittersweet moment. I was happy we
have the opportunity to leave, but will miss the great care,
thoughtful people, and caring doctors at IRH.
Worst moment this week: There isn't one!
This has been a spectacular week!
Miss anything: Meat. I have no interest
in any type of meat at this point.
Movement: No
Cravings: Fruit! Fruit! More fruit!
CAN.NOT.GET.ENOUGH.
Queasy or sick: Feeling a bit better,
but still carrying crackers around with me.
Looking forward to: Some friends of mine that
used to work at Sharpburg are getting together
on Tuesday. I can't wait to share the exciting news with them
that 2 baby Messers are on their way!

Happy birthday Keith & 9 Weeks!

And another pic because Big Sister Maddy wanted in...

How far along?:  9 weeks
Gender: Not finding out! We love surprises!
Weight gain: Still not gaining weight, but not losing
weight at this point either.
When will food sound good again?!
Maternity clothes: Not yet, but definitely getting close!
Stretch Marks: No
Belly Button in or out: In
Sleep: Much better this week,
minus waking up every 2 hours to pee.
Best moment this week: Celebrating Keith's birthday.
We went to the Cyclone's game and were able to catch
up with friends we hadn't seen in awhile.
So much fun! We are feeling so blessed that so many
people love our little babies so much already!
Worst moment this week: We were not able to go to Louisville
on New Year's Eve due to my extreme nausea.
I felt terrible that our last New Year's Eve "kid free"
was spent laying on the couch.
(Thanks to Thomas and Sarah who did stop by to visit us!)
Miss anything: My appetite.
Movement: No
Cravings: This week my craving is for Larosa's spaghetti and salad.
Queasy or sick: Queasy and sick....
Ginger ale saves me in the morning,
but this all day sickness stuff is no joke!
Looking forward to: Our ultrasound appointment this Wednesday, January 8th
to find out if we are released from IRH!
