Our House, Is a Very Very Very Fine House

Happy Sunday Blogger Friends!

So, this post is only about 11 days late, but better late than never!!
Quick updates with us...
Keith and I officially closed on our house on August 17th!!!
We have been busy packing, painting, and moving and will be
all nestled in on Labor Day weekend.

School is now in full session (hence why the belated post).
It started out crazier than I expected,
but I am trying to stay positive. :)

Keith is entered in 2 fantasy football leagues,
so hopefully he drafted well and we can win some $$$.

Here are some pics from the month of August in the life of the Messers!

Exploring Pittsburgh

After the zoo, we were hungry!
We hopped in the car and headed to
This bar and grill is on Pittsburgh's historic south side.

On our way, we had to take a detour due to some roads being closed.
Why were the roads closed you ask?
They were filming the newest Batman movie!!
Of course we had to snap some pics!

Side note: When Keith and I were in Chicago in 2008,
they were filming a Batman movie as well!
I think we are subconsciously Batman stalkers!

After all of the Batman excitement, we arrive at Fat Head's.

Keith was a trooper and ordered the Southside Slope sandwich,
Voted # 5 Best Sandwich in the U.S.A.
This sandwich was a beast--
fried pierogies, kielbasa, american cheese, sauteed onions, and horseradish sauce.

Victoria wanted in on the action too!

Bellies full, we traveled to the

We took a ride on this century-old incline cable car.

When we reached the top, this amazing view awaited us!

What a gorgeous day!

Don't the boys look cute with their pink bags?!?!?

Next, we went on a (what I like to call) pub crawl!
(And yes, we took the baby too!)

Keith was really creative with this pic below! You can see the city through the beer!

This was a church that was turned into a brewery!
I thought it would be fun to have weddings here!
You have the wedding ceremony, and then no need to leave!
Have the reception right there!

Here we are on the altar
(I'm praying for God to forgive Keith's sins!).

Victoria was a champ all day---poor thing had a little explosion at the end!

In the evening, we made a fire in the fire pit, ate some buffalo chicken dip (yum!),
and roasted S'mores.
I made the most delicious S'more I have ever eaten in my entire life!!!
I was so proud!

In the morning we had to say our good-byes and head back to the good ole Nati.
I was so sad to leave our friends and this beautiful little girl behind...

Come visit soon Holtz family!
Cincinnati is waiting for you ;)
