Weeks 18 & 19

How far along?:  Weeks 18 & 19
This is our halfway mark since the doctors
have decided they will not let me go on past 38
weeks. July 22nd, here we come!
Gender: Surprise! Surprise!
Heart rates currently at 154 and 137 now...
any guesses?
Weight gain: 5 pounds
Maternity clothes: Yes! Yes! Yes! I've
been trying to hang on to my non maternity pants
and just use my belly band, but it might be
time to start investing in some maternity pants.
It's just so hard to think about pants when spring dresses
are right around the corner!
Stretch Marks: Not yet, but I'm anticipating them!
Belly Button in or out: In, but getting smaller daily!
Sleep: Sleeping well!
I really have to stop watching Criminal Minds though....
Best moment this week: So many that I have to put them in order!

1. Celebrating my godson, Ben's, 3rd birthday!
This little guy is such a character and SO.MUCH.FUN!
Happy birthday, Super Ben!

2. I was able to spend a day enjoying a baby shower for a friend who also
had to go to IRH. What a proud mommy she is!
She looks fantastic and I am so happy that we met.
Having her ahead of me in this pregnancy has been
a life saver!

3. I had an Orange Leaf Date with my friend, Katie.
My cup is on the right.
I must say this is the oddest combination
I have ever created!
But, wow, it was so good!

4. Our cribs came this week!
I bet who ever delivered all of these packages,
absolutely LOVED all of the stairs leading to our
porch....

5. I teach math to all of the 2nd graders at our school.
On Pi Day, 3.14 (March 14th), I hosted a
Hawaiian Beach Day for our students
and families.
The students enjoyed math read alouds, poems, and
math activities all day. At 2:30, the students' family members
came to school and the students taught their family
members how to play some of our math games
we learned this year.
We had tropical music, decorations,
and Hugs juice with little umbrellas in them.
Here is a picture of me with my fabulous
second grade team members!

6. We attended our TotSaver CPR class this weekend.
Such valuable information!
7. We had dinner with my dad's family and my niece,
Lily, started a baby name list for us since Keith and I
are struggling to agree on names. Lily is awesome and
came up with some fabulous names!
Miss anything: I am LOVING being pregnant!
I don't miss anything this week!
Movement: Yes!
Although as soon as Keith tries to feel them,
they COMPLETELY stop.
They like teasing him already and it makes me giggle.
Cravings: Orange sunkist!!!
Queasy or sick: Not any more! Still can't eat grilled chicken though....
Looking forward to: Keith being able to feel the babies moving, our tour
of the hospital, and SPRING BREAK!
Can I get a "Hooray!" for warmer weather?!

  1. Love this post! Sounds like everything is going great! So happy for you!
I am still thinking you are having two girls, just a feeling, not based on heart rate. Kennedy's heart rate was always in the 140's so people kept telling me I was having a boy, wrong! Lol.
